London. January 5th, 1941. The twelfth day of Christmas. A troupe of actors defy the Blitz to mount a performance of Shakespeare’s beloved comedy for the benefit of their community. It’s Christmas after all. The only hitch? Their theater was just bombed in a devastating air raid, so the performance has to move to the next best place: the local pub.
