This performance is a double bill featuring Totems In The Night by Eric Easter and VARDØ by Nicole LeBlanc
Totems In The Night is a new one-act play written by Eric Easter, about Marta, who is having trouble grappling with her reality, falling into maladaptive daydreaming. A figure from her past steps back into her life and her world begins to shift. Loosely inspired by "Rough Song" by Beach House, this play is a modern dark fairy tale featuring two actors and a musician, guiding us through a dreamt up world.
Vardø, Norway, 1621. Four women accused of witchcraft await execution in a dirt cell. Four become five when their accuser finds herself awaiting the same fate.
