PlayCo proudly introduces esteemed Catalan writer Josep Maria Miró to New York theatre. Winner of the National Prize for Dramatic Literature, the highest theatre honor in Spain, his liminal, ferocious one-person play surrounds the discovery of a body in a field that reopens a small town’s wounds—their prejudices, desires, and memories of loss. Two-time Obie Award-winner Rachel Crowl, most recently celebrated for her work in Jordan Tannahill’s Prince Faggot, takes on the acrobatic task of channeling an entire town in Miró’s solo play.
