From the mind of first time composer/lyricist Zach Rolf comes a brand new take on Shakespeare's infamous ¨Scottish Play¨. ¨The King of Scotland¨ follows similar story beats and characters of ¨The Tradegy of Macbeth¨, but with a punk twist, featuring a completely rock-influenced score. It evokes groups like The Eagles, artists like Joan Jett, and even some contemporary favorites like Green Day. It´s a story of ambition, greed, sex and violence. What´s more rock-and-roll than that?
