"Phases of You" is a new play by Asaru Che, directed by Asaru Che and Damayanti Wallace. The play is a T4T (Trans for Trans) love story that centers around budding writer, Den (Zephyr Caulfield), and visual artist, Ember (Celeste Samson). After being set up on a blind date by a mutual friend, Jenna (Amina King), Den and Ember (#Denber) find themselves entangled in a five year love story that shifts and turns like the phases of the moon. The play touches on themes of race, gender, death and love as its characters navigate life in New York City.
