Making It Happen: Festival of 15-Minute Musicals

Twelve original 15-minute musicals will compete over three nights for the chance to win a $5,000 prize. Making It Happen: Festival of 15 Minute Musicals showcases twelve original 15 minute musicals by emerging writers, composers, lyricists, and creative teams on the Off Broadway stage at The Theater Center in Times Square. Across three preliminary performance nights on Wednesday, August 12, Wednesday, August 19, and Wednesday, August 26, audiences will experience four brand new musicals each evening and vote alongside a panel of judges to help select which productions advance to the Festival Finals on Wednesday, September 9. The three finalists will return for one final performance, where one musical will be awarded the festival's $5,000 grand prize.
