Tara's getting ready to leave her family apartment in Queens when an exterminator, Sudha, shows up at her door. A search for cockroaches opens a time portal to 1986—to the day the Mets play Game 6 of the '86 World Series. The two women must then navigate this fateful day, Tara with her 12 year-old father as they adventure to save Mookie Wilson, and Sudha with her troubled young daughter. Together, they might come to understand something about home, wherever that may be.
