Götterdämmerung

Wagner’s four-part epic is one of the most awe-inspiring, grandly scaled, and sought-after works in all of live music, and these opera-in-concert performances bring each chapter to life in stunning detail. This evening, experience the Ring’s heart-wrenching final opera, Götterdämmerung (Twilight of the Gods), that tells of Siegfried’s betrayal, the burning of Valhalla, and the ring’s return to the Rhine. It is performed by a world-class cast of Wagnerian singers and New York’s own Musica Sacra with Gianandrea Noseda and the Orchestra of the Zurich Opera House, a world-renowned institution from the birthplace of the Ring.
