Ten years after the death of her dad, Julia’s world is turned upside down when Romi, a familiar stranger, shows up at her door with a mission from God, a bowl of fish, and three months left to live. Over the course of the play, Romi’s insistence about his own death forces Julia to deal with the grief she’s been pushing down since she was a child. Fishbowl is a story about grief, but more importantly it is a story about the importance of connecting with the people we love while there is still time.
