DUTCHMAN originally premiered at The Cherry Lane Theatre in 1964. For one night only, Johnson brings back this piece to its original home as a tribute to the playwright that inspired his work. This performance is in concert with A POEM FOR DEEP THINKERS, Johnson's retrospective at the Guggenheim whose title is taken from one of Baraka's poems.
