(fka Manchildblack), better known as The Illustrious Blacks, have become the go-to life of the party at venues across the country and around the world. With inspiration taken from David Bowie, George Clinton, Depeche Mode, and Prince, the pair fuses Afrofuturistic disco, funk, and house into an evening of music that is expressive, exciting and truly cosmic. The Illustrious Blacks’ return to Lincoln Center at this Silent Disco Remix serves as a one-time-only introduction to the duo's new and immersive club musical Beyond the Stardust, jointly conceived by The Illustrious Blacks and Flea Artistic Director, Niegel Smith. Accompanied by aerialists, dancers, and live singers all outfitted in theatrical costumes, this is a Silent Disco you'll be able to hear from outer space! Beyond the Stardust will have its world premiere at The Flea in September 2026.
