Set in a dingy open mic in the Pacific NW, we see Newbie arrive and is welcomed by the colorful group of regulars. Mike is still carrying a torch for his ex, Autumn. As Mike and Autumn's romance is rekindled, it comes to everyone's attention that the open mic may be closing. Joe, the emcee, is trying to keep it open. Mike and Autumn break up over polyamory but JR (one-hit-wonder) and Akuarious (aging groupie) discover their love for each other. The open mic closes but Newbie finds the courage to sing about the importance of being in the moment.
