An original comedy about a Pakistani American woman navigating love, family, and tradition as her mother constantly "arranges" her marriage. ‘"Arrangements" is an original comedy by playwright, producer, and award-winning journalist Jasmine Amjad that explores identity, family, faith, and the pressures of tradition through the story of a Pakistani American woman navigating love while her well-meaning but traditional mother attempts to contantly "arrange" her marriage. After being accepted into the New York Theater Festival, ‘"Arrangements" premiered in July 2024 and sold out all three performances for close to 300 audience members The production now returns November 5–8, 2026, for an expanded six-show run at New York’s HB StudioTheatre.
